Dans le cadre de notre participation au projet Albertine, nous avons étudié dans les deux langues, l’album « Florence et Léon », de Simon Boulerice, illustré par Delphie Côté-Lacroix. A partir de la mise en avant des différences entre les personnages du livre : forces et faiblesses qui finalement les réunissent, les élèves ont identifié les leurs pour établir un panneau avec leurs portraits reliés par des fils pour montrer la complémentarité entre eux, les liens d’entraide qui pouvaient les unir. Nous avons renforcé cela en menant une expérience scientifique sur les cinq sens au cours de laquelle les élèves avaient les yeux bandés et devaient sentir, toucher et goûter différents aliments afin de les identifier. Au préalable, chaque sens avait été défini de manière concrète. Ensuite, il leur a été demandé d’exprimer leur ressenti face à cette expérience à l’aveugle.
As part of our participation in the Albertine project, we studied, in both languages, the album “Florence et Léon”, by Simon Boulerice, illustrated by Delphie Côté-Lacroix. After highlighting the differences between the characters in the book: the strengths and weaknesses that ultimately unite them, the students identified their own and created a panel with their portraits linked by wires to show how they complement each other, and the bonds of mutual support that could unite them. We reinforced this by running a science experiment on the five senses, in which students were blindfolded and had to smell, touch and taste different foods to identify them. Beforehand, each sense was defined in concrete terms. They were then asked to express how they felt about this blind experiment.
