The Winter Wonderland event at LIH was a festive and magical occasion, filled with lively performances from our talented students across all grade levels. The evening brought together the community to celebrate the spirit of Christmas with music, dance, and holiday cheer. Here’s a glimpse into this special event:
The celebration kicked off with 1st Grade/CP students, who set the tone for the evening with a lively rendition of Feliz Navidad, spreading Christmas joy from the very start. PreK3/PS brought smiles to the audience with their charming performance of I Am a Little Snowman, a delightful and playful song that had everyone in the holiday spirit.
Next, the PreK4/Moyenne Section students performed 5 Petits Rennes, adding a touch of French holiday cheer with their adorable dance moves and song. The Kindergarten/Grande Section students performed Jingle Bells, inviting everyone to sing along with their energetic and fun-filled version of the classic holiday tune.
The evening continued with a beautiful performance by the Preschool/Maternelles students, who sang Canon de Versini, a lovely and harmonious piece that showcased their growing musical talent. Thenthe Pre-2/TPS class performed Petit Papa Noël, filling the room with the warmth of this beloved French Christmas song.
A Special Guest arrived, bringing an extra dose of holiday magic to the evening and delighting the audience with a surprise performance.
The celebration continued with the Middle & High School/Collège et Lycée students performing This Little Light of Mine, a powerful and uplifting song that filled the room with hope and joy. Following them, Eleonore, Maela & Rose took the stage and performed All I Want for Christmas, adding their own special touch to this holiday classic.
The 2nd Grade/CE1 students rocked the stage with their lively rendition of Last Christmas by Wham!, getting everyone in the festive spirit. The 3rd Grade/CE2 students had the crowd dancing along to their energetic performance of Jingle Bell Rock, a fun and upbeat favorite.
The 4th Grade/CM1 students performed La Nuit de Rameau, a beautiful and elegant piece that highlighted their impressive musical abilities. 5th Grade/CM2 students delivered a moving performance of Chosen Family by Rina Sawayama and Elton John, a heartfelt tribute to the importance of love and togetherness during the holiday season.
The evening concluded with the 6th Grade/6ème students performing Where Are You Christmas?, a beautiful and reflective song that brought a sense of peace and wonder to the event.
The Winter Wonderland event was a true celebration of our students’ talent, dedication, and holiday spirit. It was a joyful evening that left everyone feeling warm and festive, and we look forward to many more wonderful celebrations like this in the years to come.
