The Lycée International de Houston, LIH, was established in 2017 by passionate individuals from different cultural backgrounds and founders who recognized the need for a bilingual school in the Houston community. As the sole accredited 18-month through 12th-grade bilingual school in Houston, the Lycée International de Houston offers a unique dual-language immersion program in both French and English. Job description

Requirements:
· High School Diploma or its equivalent.
· Bilingual/Native in French
· Previous experience with childcare
· French native speaker (excellent French skills in speaking, reading, writing, and listening comprehension)
Responsibilities:
· Passionate about working with children
· Provide a safe and loving environment for the infants
· Previous experience with childcare
· Put infants in cribs for nap time
· Perform a variety of tasks, such as dressing, feeding, potty training and overseeing play
· Supervise infants on the floor as they play with age appropriate toys
· Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean
· Teaching skills for multicultural school environment
· High level of energy, creativity, and commitment
· Great classroom management skills
· Physically able to monitor and move about the room
Working Conditions:
Standing for long periods of time. Frequent stooping, bending, pulling and pushing, relocating stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment. The level of mobility required depends upon the grade level of teaching assignment(s) and requirements thereof. Must maintain emotional control under stress.
