Lycée International de Houston (LIH) was founded in 2017 with a clear purpose: to offer a rigorous, multilingual education that challenges students academically while supporting them as individuals. From the beginning, LIH has been committed to high standards, global perspective, and an inclusive school culture where every student is known and supported.

Founding and Early Years
Located in Houston’s Energy Corridor, LIH sits on a 10-acre campus designed to support both academic focus and student well-being. From its early years, the school has invested in strong instructional programs, modern learning spaces, and a curriculum that integrates French, English, and Spanish.
LIH’s academic framework aligns the French Ministry of Education standards, the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework, and the American curriculum, providing students with linguistic fluency, cultural understanding, and academic rigor within a cohesive educational model.
