The 2026 Lunar New Year, also known as Chinese New Year or Spring Festival, marks the beginning of the Year of the Horse and is celebrated on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. This vibrant festival is one of the most important traditional holidays in many East Asian cultures, symbolizing new beginnings, family reunions, and good fortune.

Festivities typically include colorful decorations, lantern festivals, traditional dances like the lion and dragon dance, and the sharing of symbolic foods. Red envelopes filled with money (hongbao) are gifted for luck, and fireworks are set off to drive away bad spirits.

The Year of the Horse is associated with energy, confidence, and determination — a time for bold moves and forward momentum!
