A Celebration of Culture, Community, and Connection
The Lycée International de Houston (LIH) community came together for one of the most anticipated events of the year, the 2025 International Festival! This annual celebration transformed our campus into a vibrant global village, filled with color, music, and the aroma of delicious dishes representing this time more than 20 countries from around the world.
Students, parents, and staff proudly showcased their heritage through art, performances, and interactive booths that reflected the beauty and diversity of our multilingual community. Beyond the festivities, the International Festival embodies LIH’s mission to prepare students to become global citizens, individuals who embrace cultural understanding, collaboration, and respect.
The event also featured a flag parade, international food tasting, and a cultural raffle organized by our Parent Organization. Each classroom contributed to a country-themed basket, which was raffled to raise funds supporting school activities and projects.
This remarkable event wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible dedication of our families, volunteers, and staff. Their passion and teamwork made the day a true success and a powerful reminder of what makes LIH such a special place, a school where excellence, diversity, and community come together.
