As the chilly winter sets in, LIH students have traded the cold for the tropical warmth of Puerto Rico! This exciting winter break trip is giving them the perfect blend of adventure, culture, and relaxation in one of the most vibrant destinations in the Caribbean.
From exploring the colorful streets of Old San Juan to basking in the sun on the pristine beaches of Flamenco Beach, our students are making unforgettable memories. They’re also diving into Puerto Rico’s rich history with visits to El Morro Fortress, discovering the island’s incredible biodiversity in El Yunque Rainforest, and even experiencing the magic of the bioluminescent bay at night!
Beyond the sightseeing, this trip is an opportunity for our students to strengthen friendships, immerse themselves in a new culture, and take a well-deserved break before returning refreshed for the next semester.
