About Us
LIH Location
Lycée International de Houston is located at 15950 Park Row Dr, Houston, TX 77084, near the intersection of Highway I-10 and Hwy 6 in the heart of the Energy Corridor. We are located minutes away from Addicks Park and Ride. Based in Houston, TX, LIH is located in one of the most diverse cities in the world.
As such, we make it our mission to teach students the importance of being open-minded individuals. The goal here is to get students accustomed to a diverse and competitive world. LIH prepares students to navigate the world with confidence and command, empathy and joy. We achieve this through rigorous bilingual, French and English, and International Baccalaureate education programs, and a vibrant school culture strengthened by multilingual, multinational educators and families.
A bilingual education is one of the most precious gifts you can give your child.
We offer a blended approach to teaching that is unique in Houston. We use traditional French and progressive American teaching styles. Students benefit from the best each approach has to offer. Classes and activities emphasize academic excellence, physical intellectual and emotional balance and responsible citizenship.

Highest Quality of Education
Above all, students at Lycée International de Houston will learn in a bicultural and bilingual environment. French and English are at the core of what we do and, in conjunction with other languages, provide our students with multiple perspectives and intercultural competencies that enable them to engage effectively and sensitively with a wide variety of people and situations.
Artfully blending the curriculum requirements and pedagogical approaches of the French and American systems, our native-speaking faculty create rich academic environments for a diverse, international and local student body. To always see, explore, and understand the world around them from two perspectives is the gift of the deeply biliterate student, succinctly captured in our school’s motto, “excellence, rigor, and kindness”.
