Lycée International de Houston students launch their bottle rockets during Go Texan Day! In recognition of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s many years of dedicated service to the youth of Texas.
The sport, Maths, Physics-Chemistry and Biology teachers, organized an EPI. In summary, they began by studying the heart and heart rate in Biology. Then they ran endurance races.
The 1st graders built their models of fortified castles. They first worked on the different ways of representing space: drawing, planning, modeling, and photography.
Today we studied and worked on sound and light signals. We have learned that the speed of propagation of a sound signal allows us to calculate a distance.
Students from 5th to 9th put all their creativity and talents in the creation of paintings that will be exhibited at the gala.
The children of la crèche and PK2 are in two different classrooms. This allows us to do activities that are truly adapted to each child.
Why does a boat float? A boat floats, because the action of the water that pushes it upwards is more important than the action of the Earth that pulls it towards the bottom (its weight).
How does a rocket take off? The 7th graders made a water rocket to understand the principle of propulsion. It takes off thanks to the action exerted by the fluid ejected on the rocket.
Our students were looking for opportunities to volunteer, and here it is: A big thank you to the middle schoolers who voluntarily helped the teachers during their lunch duty with the preschoolers.

Our future scientists (the 6th graders) used their magic in the laboratory to produce carbon dioxide from sodium bicarbonate and vinegar.
