My child has been diagnosed as being precocious. What curriculum would you offer?

We adapt our curriculum to each learner’s profile. Our methodology and differentiated instruction allows precocious children to enjoy a specialized, high-quality curriculum.

Yes. We conduct assessments as part of our admissions process to determine each learner’s profile.

How does a typical day unfold?

The school opens its doors at 7:30 a.m. for early drop off, which is included. Teachers start at 8:00 a.m. and end their day at 4:30 p.m. A school day consists of six teaching periods, a 30-minute morning recess, and a lunch break followed by a second recess (the latter two lasting a total of one hour). The final period is devoted to homework assistance for all Primary students and daycare for Preschool students. Secondary school students finish their classes at 4:00 p.m. Extracurricular activities are offered from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Paid childcare is offered from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for Primary students not participating in extracurricular activities.

What are the immunization requirements?

All students must provide a copy of their immunization records before the first day of class. LIH uses Magnus Health for all student medical information. A link to Magnus will be placed on our website and parents will be asked to fill electronic forms and upload documents before the start of classes in August.
